Inspiration for my books comes from anywhere and everywhere: a line in the book I'm reading, a comment made during a conversation, a story my mother shares over lunch. Once the idea is planted in my head, I can't stop my mind from rolling. Those thoughts stack and fit together like a puzzle to become the storyline for my novels.  

Throughout the writing process, the story's trajectory may take a slight detour from the original outline, but the general concept remains as the story's basis.
