Maria-Luisa Lexi's journey began in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She has made her home in Toronto, Canada, for the past forty-five years.

A lifelong reader, Maria-Luisa always had the desire to write, but life—as it always does—got in the way. After over thirty years in the workforce, establishing and running multi-million dollar sales departments, working sixty-hour weeks and driving herself to burnout, she has taken a sabbatical to devote time to fulfilling her lifelong dream of writing.

Putting pen to paper and employing her years of life lessons, and the experiences from her extensive travels, Maria-Luisa writes "The Woman" novels.
